Today we celebrate the #International Women's Day

The Objective is CLEAR: Make visible the presence of women in our sector.

🙋🏽Promoting and celebrating the achievements of women within this wind industry can help normalize their presence and inspire other women to follow in their footsteps.

♀️ Women currently represent 21% of wind workforces worldwide, but there is still room to increase this figure and achieve greater gender equality within the sector.

💪Highlighting the contribution of women in the wind industry is essential to increase recognition and appreciation of their role and impact on the energy industry in general.

In short, making visible and valuing the role of women in the wind sector is not only an act of justice and equity, but also a way to promote diversity, innovation and progress in this industry.

  • Grupo Inerzia: 42% Women 58% Men (Despite being in a masculinized sector, the 2026 Objective is: 50%-50%)

  • Spain: By subsectors, photovoltaic is the one that covers the most female employment, with a percentage of 40%, well above wind power (21%). Despite these positive data, women's access to decision-making positions also remains low in the renewable sector, with only 17% of women in senior management positions in photovoltaics and only 8% in wind.
  • Around the Word: Women represent 21% of wind workforces in the world, somewhat lower than the 32% registered in renewables.
