A UNIQUE TRAINING EXPERIENCE IN A WIND TURBINE.
In Ventum Academy We start the year with new training, carrying out training in collaboration with SIG Coop. based on “Playful and immersive learning on premature detection of machine failures” through gamification methodologies emulating what would be a “escape room” in the environment of a wind turbine.
In tune with the “gamification” trend, Ventum Academy is proud to present a revolutionary training experience that takes participants directly into a real, energized environment on a wind turbine. Equipped with the most advanced personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by CONAPRO, participants are immersed in a quasi-real scenario, full of tools, sounds and images that challenge their technical and emotional problem-solving skills.
Under the constant direction of Víctor Baquero, General Director of Grupo Inerzia and Technical Director at Ventum Academy, the participants, grouped in teams of 8 people, face the challenge proposed by Xabier Barón, Operations Manager at SIG Coop., working against the clock. to achieve success in the allotted time.
This experience goes beyond mere simulation, as it uses the client's real work procedures, comprehensively addressing safety and environmental aspects. “The experience is complete and unique,” declares Víctor Baquero.
Time pressure, the diversity of problems and the variety of technical profiles reveal not only knowledge, but also soft skills such as collaboration, adaptability, communication and creativity.
After the exercise, a joint analysis of the relevant aspects is carried out, highlighting what has worked, the learning obtained and the significance of the experience.
To date, 30 people have participated in this training, all of them leaving highly satisfied and enthusiastic, with valuable learning to face real challenges in the world of work, which underlines the transformative impact of this experience on work teams and the formation of the wind sector.
Xabier Barón, partner and co-founder of SIG Coop., highlights the uniqueness of this training, which takes advantage of Ventum's unique facilities. “It is something truly unique in the world,” says Barón.
This experience ensures a deep connection between the rational and the emotional, turning four hours of training into a captivating experience that will leave participants motivated and energized, regardless of the outcome.
