Mission of the position: Ensure the conformity and quality of tools, components and welded products, performing visual and dimensional inspections in accordance with regulations, as well as certifications and reviews of tools according to the procedures of the Integrated Management System of NEM SL

Main functions

• Visual and dimensional inspection of welded parts, assemblies and tools.
• Review of materials upon receipt and supplier certificates (materials, treatments, etc.).
• Completion of quality control checklists (100% in prototypes and serial sampling).
• Carrying out mountability tests before expeditions.
• Tool inspection and recertification (requires occasional national travel).
• Generation of certificates and control records in the BC system.
• Preparation of non-conformity reports and coordination with Production, Purchasing and Occupational Risk Prevention.
• Support to the Technical Office (Engineering and Production) in the verification of plans, bills of materials and product sheets.
• Occasional support to the warehouse (internal distribution, receipt of delivery notes, loading and unloading).
• Technical communication with clients and suppliers during the certification process.

Training and knowledge required

Technical training: Minimum training: Higher Grade in Mechanical Manufacturing, metal structures or similar.

Solid knowledge in:

• Interpretation of plans.
• Welding and mechanical-welded manufacturing processes.
• Metrology and inspection techniques.

Highly valued:

• END Course – Visual Inspection Level 2 according to UNE-EN ISO 9712, in force.
• Experience in welding quality control (VT).
• Handling measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, thickness gauges, etc.).

Valuable:

• ERP management (Navision, SAP).
• English level B2.
• Forklift license.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years' experience in quality control in industrial or welded engineering environments.

Valuable experience in:

• Non-destructive testing (liquid penetrants, magnetic particles, ultrasound).
• Certification or recertification of tools.
• Inspection and validation of prototypes or parts under ISO regulations.
