Group Inerzia attends the 2011 AEE Wind Convention
The 2011 AEE Convention took place this past June 7th and 8th in Madrid under the name "A new energy paradigm." The main topics discussed at the meeting consisted of the internationalization of the Spanish wind energy sector, a process that also affects a large number of small and medium-sized enterprises, and the challenge of meeting the EU energy objectives of 20% consumption from renewable energies sources.

Kintech awarded the EOLO Prize
Kintech’s new wind turbulence model has been unanimously awarded first prize at the EOLO award ceremony. The prestigious AEE’s award recognizes technological innovation in the Spanish wind energy industry. The winning project represents a new parameter for measuring wind turbulence and allows users to collect new information on the high frequencies. This technology can be used to perform maximum load studies for future wind farm sites.

CONAPRO provides PPE training in Zaragoza
This past June 29th, CONAPRO, a Inerzia Group company specializing in products and safety training, provided an all day Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) presentation and training. The training was attended by Occupational Health and Safety professionals and procurement officers and was aimed at different industrial enterprises with technical content for the correct use of PPE based on the different job tasks. The training covered systems and safety features for individual protection, identification of appropriate PPE and training, optimization, innovation and ended with a presentation of the 2011 catalog..
